“국제 성소수자 혐오 반대의 날 '아이다 호 데이'를 기념하며”
성소수자 인권과 HIV/AIDS 인식 개선에 기여한 개인과 단체를 선정해 프라이드 어워드를 수여하고,
시상·공연·디너 프로그램을 통해 지지와 연대를 후원과 실천으로 연결하는 연대의 장입니다.
사단법인 신나는센터는 매년 5월 17일, 국제 성소수자 혐오 반대의 날인 ‘아이다호 데이(IDAHO Day)’에 맞춰
프라이드 갈라를 개최하며 혐오와 차별에 반대하는 국제적 약속을 한국 사회의 연대로 이어가고 있습니다.
▪️ 행사 배경
세계의 갈라, 한국의 갈라
뉴욕, 샌프란시스코, 홍콩 등 세계 주요 도시에서 성소수자 인권과 HIV/AIDS
인식 개선을 위해 이어져 온 갈라 형식의 후원 행사에서 영감을 받아 시작되었습니다.
신나는센터는 이러한 국제적 흐름을 한국 사회의 맥락에 맞게 이어오며, 성소수자 인권과
커뮤니티 기반 연대를 확장하는 플랫폼으로 프라이드 갈라를 지속적으로 운영하고 있습니다.

프라이드 어워드ㅣ 성소수자 인권 증진과 HIV/AIDS 인식 개선에 기여한 개인과 단체를 선정해 시상
공연ㅣ 축하 공연 및 문화 프로그램을 통해 행사의 의미와 메시지를 나누는 시간
디너 & 네트워킹ㅣ 후원자와 참여자가 한자리에 모여 교류하고 연대를 확인하는 자리

▪️ What is PRIDE Gala?
"Commemorating the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT)"
PRIDE Gala is an annual event that honors individuals and organizations contributing to LGBTQ+ rights and HIV/AIDS awareness through the PRIDE Awards, while bringing support and solidarity into action through an awards ceremony, performances, and a dinner program.
Every year on May 17, Sinnaneun Center hosts PRIDE Gala in conjunction with the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), carrying forward the global commitment to oppose discrimination and prejudice through solidarity within Korean society.

A Gala for the World, A Gala for Korea
PRIDE Gala was inspired by fundraising events held in major cities around the world—including New York,
San Francisco, and Hong Kong—to advance LGBTQ+ rights and HIV/AIDS awareness.
Building on these international models, Sinnaneun Center has adapted the concept to the Korean context and
continues to operate PRIDE Gala as a platform that expands community-based solidarity and promotes LGBTQ+ rights.
